Prayer or communicating with God is a subject that comes up often in the pages of scripture.
Paul often begins many of his letters with the affirmation that he is praying for and has been praying for those that are receiving the letter.
We see Jesus getting away often in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to pray.

When people ask me about prayer they often asked questions about what they should say. In our early days of prayer all of us approach it as if we are the only ones with something to say. We never consider that God might have something to say to us.
We must always be mindful that prayer is a two way communication. As much as God wants to hear from you he also want you to hear from him. Learning to listen is a critical part of two way communication and prayer is no different. Continue reading
