No one is without sin. We all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. That means that all of us are in need of forgiveness.
Confession is the pathway to forgiveness.
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
Prayer is an opportunity to reveal our heart to God. Not for God’s sake but ours. When we are honest before God we invite his grace and mercy to cover our lives.
Because God already knows our heart it frees us from pretending to be something we are not. Confess what is in your heart and be set free.
