Saint Patrick is known worldwide for the day we celebrate by wearing green. Remembered as the Apostle of Ireland, there is far more to the story than just a holiday.
As a teenager, he was kidnapped by pirates, taken to Ireland and six years later miraculously escaped. Saint Patrick later returned to the country where he was held captive. But this time he was there as a missionary.
