Spring would be my favorite time of year if it wasn’t for allergies. It’s beautiful and alive. It seems the world has awoken from sleep. It reminds us that new life is all around us.
Other than the watery eyes and sneezing, its perfect.

How blessed is this day, when earth and heaven are joined and humankind is reconciled to God!
May the light of Jesus shine continually to drive away all darkness.
May Christ, the Morning Star who knows no setting, find his light ever burning in our hearts—he who gives his light to all creation, and who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.

If there is one thing I’ve learned as a Pastor it’s this. Adults are just big children with bills to pay.

Today’s prayer is actually the first verse of a song. It is called A Missionary’s Prayer, also known as I Will Go and Do, written by Janice Kapp Perry in 1979.
A missionary is one who travels away from home to carry the message of the gospel (good news). They sacrifice time and money to do what they feel God has called (or asked) them to do. Continue reading
Many people know Dr. Seuss as a wonderful children’s literature writer.
Fewer people know of his artwork. Not only did Dr. Seuss illustrate his own books, but he also painted works of art that are in museums today.
