Contrary to what some people believe, we were not meant to be lone rangers in our pursuit of God.  The Church is meant to pursue God in the context of community.

As we seek to grow in our faith we must surround ourselves with people that will encourage us to walk closer to God.  A very important part of that journey is finding people that can pray with you and for you.

While most of our prayer time will be a solo adventure it is important to have those moments where we allow our faith to interact with other.  Learning to be responsible for one another and taking time to pray with one another.  It is very encouraging and emotional to listen to someone else pray for you.

If you want to energize your prayer life find another person or a small group of people and begin praying together once a week.  It will change your life and theirs.
